The Pune Municipal Corporation with the help of PMRDA and PCNTDA has undertaken town planning schemes. Under the town planning scheme, the PMRDA and PCNTDA acquire asymmetrical land from the landowners. The acquired land is converted into regular plots by equipping it with public utilities. A portion of land is taken from every landowner to provide social amenities such as sewage treatment plants, roads, and parks. The remaining land is returned to the landowners post the development. The PMRDA has undertaken Mhalunge-Maan town planning which was approved in 2018 and around 6,200 landowners are a part of this scheme. Uruli-Devachi, Nimbalkarwadi, Handewadi, Wadki, and Phursungi are the other localities that will be included under the town planning scheme. The PMRDA is planning 10 such town planning schemes around the Pune Ring Road.
Under Mhalunge - Maan town planning scheme, PMRDA has planned to provide 315 plots to 5,100 farmers. The landowners will get 50% of their land post the proposed township development. This scheme will develop new towns in the peripherals of Mhalunge – Maan and decongest the micro-market of Hinjewadi.
Guidelines to take part in e-auction

Login to PMRDA auction website
- Register by creating the login credentials and a registration fee of INR 500 along with GST must be paid
- The required documents and digital signature should be uploaded
- Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) must be paid before participating in the bid
Eligibility criteria to obtain plots in Pune:
To obtain plots under this scheme the below-mentioned eligibility criteria must be matched –
- The applicant should be a resident of Maharashtra
- The applicant or his family members should not have obtained plots or houses under any other schemes
