About us
New Investigator Fellowship Training Initiative (NIFTI) A 2-year, $100,000 post-doctoral fellowship intended to fund a mentored research experience in continuation of the development of recent post-professional, doctorally prepared physical therapist researchers.. *Please note: The Funding level has been increased to $100,000. In the past, NIFTI was offered at a maximum $78,000. The NIFTI is designed to fund physical therapists and physical therapist assistants as developing researchers and to improve their competitiveness in securing external funding for their future research. The fellow will receive $95,000 plus $5,000 for supplies and project expenses over a two-year period.
