We look forward to the Mission Leadership Academy session this week, on November 14 and 15, where we will explore the importance of stewardship. This session’s luminary speaker is Carol Taylor, PhD, RN, FAAN, a senior clinical scholar in the Kennedy Institute of Ethics at Georgetown University and a Professor of Medicine and Nursing. Experienced in caring for patients who are chronically and critically ill, Carol chose doctoral work in philosophy with a concentration in bioethics because of a passion to “make health care work” for those who need it. #MissionLeadershipInstitute #leadership #catholichealthcare #stewardship

Shaina Schroeder, a Pilgrim in the Mission Leadership Academy, recently planned a retreat for Saint Luke’s Rehabilitation Medical Center leaders. She took the idea of sensory experiences and incorporated it as the theme of the retreat, inspired by her formation journey. There was also a sound bath using our music thanatologist.
