We are excited to share that the first subject enrolled at a Veterans Affairs Medical Center for the Gore VBX FORWARD Clinical Study was recently completed by Harish Krishnamoorthi, MD, and his team in Portland, Oregon. The VBX FORWARD study is a prospective randomized clinical trial comparing the patency of GORE® VIABAHN® VBX Balloon Expandable Endoprosthesis (VBX Stent Graft) vs. bare metal stents in patients with complex peripheral arterial disease (PAD). Last year, Gore Medical Products Division added multiple sites from the Department of Veterans Affairs for inclusion in this study to capture treatment of a more representative patient population that better reflects current PAD patients. Thank you to Dr. Krishnamoorthi and team for this collaboration, and we look forward to learning how this study will inform the treatment of future PAD patients. We are thrilled to share that the first Australian case for the Gore Together Aortic Registry was completed by Dr Thaven Ramachandren, Dr Hani Saeed and their team at Flinders Medical Centre. The Together Registry is the latest real-world registry sponsored by Gore following the completion of the Global Registry of Endovascular Aortic Treatment (GREAT) Registry. It aims to enrol 2,000 patients treated with infrarenal aortic products in the GORE® EXCLUDER® Device family and collect 10-year follow-up data.
