Our colleagues at PAI recently did the math. U.S. funding for international reproductive health and family planning has been flat for 14 years, at around $600 million. Adjusting for inflation, funding has actually decreased by 30 percent. At the same time, the number of women of reproductive age in countries that receive aid has increased from 470 million to 800 million. Women's Refugee Commission is focused on making sure refugee women and girls get the support they need to make choices about their bodies, families, and futures and to be safe. More funding will save more women's lives.
