Pause is power ⚡ The Coca-Cola Company brand, Powerade, is redefining athlete support at the Olympic Games this year with the help of WPP Open X, led by Ogilvy and supported by Hogarth. Featuring U.S. Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, the campaign champions the importance of prioritising both mental and physical well-being for athletes, showcasing how doing so is an act of courage and power. A thought in passing that pausing is key for athletes to focus intensely on the task at hand, visualise success, and calm the mind. This is also key in communication, although most don’t think of it. Many people rush in with answers, opinions and thoughts without stopping, pausing to gain clarity and focus on the shape of response. Many great speakers have learnt this key aspect of communication.
Is the video real or AI-generated? I mean.. the pizza cannot be real at least. I can't believe there is such things in the "real" world.
Bit of a shame that someone like Simone Biles is partnering with the likes of Coca Cola… #boycott

1wToo long an advert...the entire slow-motion middle section of the advert with its upside-down POV could have been shorter. Though in the way the advert has been conceived, this section is the main idea, because it contains the thoughts that are in the voice over. And that is clearly a problem. Besides, who is the female voice over that we hear? Are those supposed to be the thoughts of Simone Biles? If so, the least you could have done is to use her own voice, instead of pasting a very obvious white woman's voice on her thoughts. Terrible work, WPP, I have to say.
