Today, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude to be part of an incredible team and company that not only supports but also elevates entrepreneurs. We had an enlightening panel discussion featuring alumni companies of the Technology Fast 50 ParkBee, Mapiq, and Deeploy. Their inspiring journeys shed light on crucial topics such as investing in (senior) talent, navigating business challenges during the pandemic, and much more. It's interactions like these that remind us why we do what we do – empowering innovative minds to transform challenges into opportunities. Let's keep pushing boundaries and making a difference! 🚀 #Entrepreneurship #Innovation #BusinessGrowth
Today we celebrate the 25th year that Deloitte hosts the Fast 50, the annual celebration and awards for the 50 fastest growing tech companies. Thanks for Maarten Stolk , Sander Schutte and Jian Jiang for taking part in a great panel discussion, Constantijn Van Oranje-Nassau to open the event and my colleagues of the Deloitte Scale Up Ecosystem Rob de Leeuw and Pepijn Janssen for organising the event!

Just jumped off from our first Deloitte Baltics All-Staff call of the year, and let me tell you, it was anything but ordinary! This time around, we decided to switch things up a bit and hand the reins over to our teams across Baltics. ❓ We posed a crucial question: What topics are you most eager to explore during our company-wide gatherings? We got so many suggestions, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the outcome. From celebrating milestones of our colleagues to business success stories– our teams voiced their preferences loud and clear. We listened, we adapted, and we delivered! But the excitement didn't stop there. All Baltic Partners took center stage to answer anonymous questions, providing candid insights. Thank you to each and every one of our colleagues for actively shaping our meeting agenda and making it tailored to our needs. Your curiosity, engagement, and willingness to ask questions (also the tough ones) are what make these moments truly memorable. Let's keep the momentum going and continue to make each gathering an opportunity for growth, connection, and, of course, a little bit of fun! 👏 #DeloitteBaltics #AllStaff #CompanyCulture

KPMG “THE PLACE TO BE” - 60th anniversary in Italy SIMMETRICO NETWORK To celebrate its 60th anniversary of professional services in Italy, KPMG chose Simmetrico and the creative proposal The Place to Be. Our concept was of a place bursting with energy, able to anticipate change and ready to welcome people and talent; a place that values differences and generates the kind of opportunities that we are all looking for. This place is KPMG: The Place to Be. This was the first event to bring together the entire KPMG network in Italy. Simmetrico managed the real-time accreditation of 4,000 people thanks to a fully integrated app, specially created for the occasion, which also communicated with participants in the build-up to the event through push notifications. Over four months, Simmetrico handled the design and production of the whole event with a team of over 200 people. Guests were greeted by a 50-metre graphic gateway and 2×20 metre letters declaring this “The Place to Be”. The event covered a space of 8000 sqm and involved 7800 sqm of carpets, 3000 m2 of seating 3 marquees to expand the catering area, and 600 sqm of lounge and backstage rooms. The set design included a 40×15 m multi-level set that was entirely suspended and provided the backdrop to a video mapping sequence made with 40 projectors and 250 light fixtures for a total projected area of over 1000 sqm. The event saw the production of 50 original videos, 6 live cameras followed the entire event and a 100,000-watt audio system. Host for the evening, Alessandro Cattelan presided over a busy programme, inviting 11 exceptional speakers to the stage: KMPG management, four testimonials for the 4 network values, and guests to talk about innovation, technology and leadership. The evening came to an end with a fantastic concert from Funk Off’s funky march band first with Italian singer Elisa as a surprise grand finale. The event received full coverage on social media with a 5-hour live stream on Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter and the dedicated hashtag #theplacetobe. The KPMG Italy Instagram profile was activated for the occasion with 5 hours of live-upload. #KPMG #ThePlaceToBe #KPMGItaly #InnovationInEventManagement #KPMGLeaders #Technology #Leadership #KPMG60Years #ProfessionalServices #DiversityAndOpportunity

#MWC is over for another year so time to dance like nobody's watching! I love working with this team and it's testimony to that fact that they are the real deal that we're the only team I've seen who has been involved throughout in designing, building, manning the Deloitte stand and then even taking it down at the end. And at every stage the team will work to make it fun (even when they're tired) Mobile World Congress is obviously about technology. Lots of people have been saying they didn’t see anything surprising this year, no new mind-blowing innovations. Partly that’s people wanting to fall in love with solutions, rather than the problems they’re trying to solve. Partly it’s because the recent developments in AI have been happing very much in the open. A key point though is about people and the culture they create in an organisation. People and teams who can work together to build something new, who can make mistakes and learn from them, who can see uncertainty not run from it and see new insights and change course because of them, that is where the real innovation lies. They’re enabled by technology, yes, but the mindset and culture have to come first for the technology to work. An AI deriving insights from previously unnavigable data is only useful if the organisation can make the changes those insights imply, including the big ones, not just optimising the status quo. The opportunity is there to transform but most will only be comfortable with applying a sticking plaster over past mistakes or a rubber band to connect silos that shouldn’t exist. So here’s to the people and focusing on them, helping them work together to solve problems they’re passionate about and to be the best they can be. That’s where the real game changing innovation has come from before and will come from again. A big thank you to Ben Steward, Yo-en Chin, Radu Asandei, Wojtek Gasiorowski, Harvey Chung, Felicia So, Kaloyan Pashov, Kristen Bescoe Tatro and BEEK Studios
And suddenly it’s over! 6 months of work and some huge life changes later we are saying farewell to an incredible space. A bold idea made real, one that has connected hundreds of visitors to Deloitte’s amazing people and propositions. Farewell you beauty!! 🥹 #mwc24 #ImaginationMadeReal #believe Until next time Wojtek Gasiorowski, Radu Asandei, Yo-en Chin, Ed Greig FRSA, Felicia So, Kaloyan Pashov, Harvey Chung, Maxime Renaux, buildUP by Fira Barcelona
