🇲🇽Absolutely thrilled to have had the chance to showcase Arajet work within the industry and lend my expertise to two fantastic panels: one focused on Distribution and Commercialization, and the other on Infrastructure. 🤔Here are my key takeaways from these discussions: 1️⃣ It was quite eye-opening when Southwest Airlines highlighted NDC as an unfinished task. This underscores that smaller airlines still have a considerable journey ahead before NDC adoption becomes a reality. 2️⃣ We unanimously recognized the paramount importance of delivering the value proposition and product in the most straightforward manner possible, irrespective of the customer's chosen purchasing channel. Yet, even in this regard, there remains a significant industry-wide gap. 3️⃣ The state of infrastructure in Latin America (excluding Brazil) presents a lingering challenge in attaining industry growth rates. It's high time we transitioned from a reactive stance to a proactive approach. In Colombia, multiple governments have come and gone without a clear vision for El Dorado Airport's future. Lima is trailing behind schedule, Mexico grapples with the immense task of optimizing AIFA and upgrading AICM, while Santo Domingo, emerging as a rapid HUB, must initiate construction phases promptly to avoid service and image deterioration due to saturation. 👏👏 I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who lent their ears to my insights and Arajet's proposal. Volotea is a Barcelona-headquartered, Spanish-registered airline. It has recently announced that its seat capacity in Spain this northern summer will be 13% higher than in 2023, and 85% higher than 2019. However, it has more capacity in France and Italy than in Spain, and almost as much in Greece as in Spain. It has 21 bases in five countries (Spain, Greece, Italy, France and Germany) and its network serves 16 countries in total. Already well ahead of its 2019 capacity and traffic in 2023, its network-wide seat count this northern summer is 46% above summer 2019. Positioned between Europe's leading low cost airlines and regional airlines and focusing on small and medium-sized cities, Volotea has been one of European aviation's most consistent growth stories over the past decade. So, why the new name?👀 For two simple reasons, we changed the moniker from “Avinor Traffic Development” to “Avinor Airports of Norway, Route Development”: Firstly, we realize that not everyone knows what Avinor does; which basically is operating a hyper-connected network of 43 airports in Norway. And secondly, the name-change adheres to “route development” being the universally recognized term within the airline industry. Everything else remains unchanged. We’re still immensely proud to represent Norway’s fantastic destinations and we will continue to update you on the latest market developments✈️

We'd love to hear your feedback in 2023 as we explore its rich history and share intriguing facts with you! 📌 In its early years, Schiphol had no paved runways due to its high groundwater level, and aircraft were getting heavier. This soggy airfield earned various nicknames, including the humorous 'Schiphol bathing resort,' as even the French referred to it. 📌 On April 1, 1926, Schiphol's ownership transferred to Amsterdam from the Ministry of War. Preparations began promptly because Amsterdam was hosting the 1928 Olympic Games. The field and access roads underwent improvements, a new concrete platform was constructed, and the airport's first terminal and an air traffic control tower were built. Everything was completed just in time for the Games. Passenger transportation increased by over a quarter in 1927, and cargo transport surged by an impressive 60% to 798 tons.
