This week the WestCap team in New York volunteered at McCarren Park Demonstration Garden, a beautiful Brooklyn park. The team helped build garden infrastructures such as raised beds, picnic tables and benches and planted flowers, herbs, and vegetables for GrowNYC. WestCap hosted Chief Financial Officers from across our portfolio for our annual CFO Summit in NYC. Best practices for post-M&A and cash management were the main themes of the day. A key takeaway: Post-merger integration is complicated and takes a lot longer than one would think, with cultural acclimation being the most important driver of success.
