Bermuda’s daily newspaper The Royal Gazette Limited profiled WestCap’s Ryan Benevides and his commitment to building WestCap into the growth platform of choice for cybersecurity founders.  When his home island of Bermuda was hit by a crippling cybersecurity attack last year, Ryan became more passionate than ever about helping enterprises and governments better protect themselves from cyber attackers. This week the WestCap team in New York volunteered at McCarren Park Demonstration Garden, a beautiful Brooklyn park. The team helped build garden infrastructures such as raised beds, picnic tables and benches and planted flowers, herbs, and vegetables for GrowNYC. It was a rewarding experience thanks to Percent Pledge!

WestCap hosted Chief Financial Officers from across our portfolio for our annual CFO Summit in NYC. Best practices for post-M&A and cash management were the main themes of the day. A key takeaway: Post-merger integration is complicated and takes a lot longer than one would think, with cultural acclimation being the most important driver of success.
