As part of the alliance, the company will leverage Oracle's cloud infrastructure platform, Oracle Alloy, to advance its hybrid IT offerings for Fujitsu Uvance. This allows businesses and the public sector to use sovereign cloud infrastructure as well as sovereign AI directly from data centres operated by Fujitsu in Japan. Kazushi Koga, SEVP at Fujitsu Ltd., commented, "Fujitsu has been working with partners who have strengths in their respective fields to solve customers' challenges as part of its Fujitsu Uvance Hybrid IT offerings. Germany has shown significant growth in the adoption of cloud computing technologies. *The majority of German companies predominantly use basic cloud services, including email services, cloud storage, and office software. *A smaller proportion of companies use more complex services such as finance or accounting software, CRM software, computing power for enterprise software, and ERP software. *In terms of sophisticated cloud services, nearly half of the enterprises surveyed use security applications, database hosting services and cloud services for application development, testing, or deployment. Overall, while there is a notable increase in cloud adoption in Germany, the data highlights that basic cloud services are more widely used compared to intermediate and sophisticated services, indicating potential for further growth and diversification in cloud utilisation among German enterprises.
