United Way of Tucson and Southern Arizona is dedicated to increasing equitable access to affordable housing and supportive services to combat homelessness. The mayor and council unanimously approve rezoning for Amphi Housing First Resource Center, thanks to overwhelming community support and federal funding assistance.
This project, with strong backing from organizations and residents, aims to bring 1,000 more units to the community. Collaboration with the City has been crucial, and we look forward to continuing these efforts.
A special shout-out to Liz Cozzi, AVP Community Development, who delivered United Way's letter of support alongside representatives from PCOA, Living Streets Alliance, Old Pueblo Community Services, Tucson Alliance for Housing Justice, and community residents, who were all in favor of the project.
