While most #Veterans transition smoothly into civilian life, some face service-related challenges that expand the federal governments capacity to address. For those of us in the #VeteranSpace, the need often feels, unending. Consequently, communities, often unfamiliar with #military needs, must support these Veterans. Well intentioned people across #nonprofits, #government, and #CharitableOrganizations, assume what a Veteran needs, and often duplicate services or put resources into solving a problem that doesn't exist. At Veterans Bridge Home, collective impact, remains at the forefront of our mission. Using technology systems like Unite Us with our community partners like Mecklenburg County, North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, and The Jeff Cohen Charitable Foundation allows for us to provide wrap around services across the social determinates of health. Even better?
