DAY 122 - Week 17 - 2024 "Curious why we're moving across three regions simultaneously? It's all about the relentless hustle... I do sales from 4 am to 6 pm across three time zones, with three weeks of non-stop followed by one week of well-deserved rest, pumping an extra 60 hours per month into calls and emails. I've personally committed to smashing our annual sales growth by 30 % per year over the next three years, and here's the playbook... Here is one thing I do ... 4 am to 8am at home ..: I own East Coast US Sales, calls and follow-ups daily... 8 am to 1 pm: I over see Ontario and Central Time operations. 1 pm to 6 pm: I work on Western Canada USA sales and order.. This motivated hustle isn't about money its about leaving an brand behind for generations to follow —it's about delivering unparalleled service and support to our clients. Absolutely delighted to share that I will be joining Jewson as an External Sales Executive on the 29th of April! I am looking forward to starting this new challenge with a company who’s goals for myself and the company are inalignment and I am so greatful to have been given this opportunity especially with my partner and I expecting a baby and I starting a young family. My whole working sales career since I started selling Holiday Homes in 2021 has been filled with promotions, financial gains, records and years worth of knowledge condensed into a smaller period of time because I was willing to adapt to new methods of working, not afraid of failure to learn, putting egos last, seeing people as people and not afraid of putting myself in uncomfortable scenarios. Then best pieces of advice I can give you is this; just be yourself, don’t become the robot, just be you and have the belief in yourself to go and achieve what you want to achieve, don’t be afraid of failure either! failing teaches you how to win.

A sales team in Columbia beat my sales team in the states! I am training a call center in Colombia with over 120 sales reps/telemarketers and their numbers outperformed numbers in the states with their accent and the learning curve about real estate. The difference was: 1. Every single person on the floor has high effort daily, dials, talk time, etc. 2. Every single person follows the script and tries their hardest regardless of the situation. 3. Every single person was so humble for the opportunity and treats everyday and every client with the utmost respect and highest effort. Why in the states do we have a wide variance when it comes to effort, professionalism, and care? People in other countries don't get the same opportunities we are blessed to have in the states to make a living and make a name for ourselves. I think it's because we are accustomed to this life style and endless opportunities we get in the US, sometimes we get spoiled and think we can choose when to try and when to work hard. Opportunities are where you aren’t looking. I was ticked off that this delta plane had no WiFi, no tv, and I didn’t prepare by bringing a book. Also, couldn’t sleep since it was 330 and I had a ton of caffeine. So instead of sitting in silence for 2 hours I started a conversation with the gentlemen next to me. He was flying to North Carolina to a job site. He sells material for big projects. He just needed 45 FTL for the job he was flying out to. Some of it is crane loading no miss stuff. We ended up talking most of the flight about golf, life, logistics, sales, technology, etc. As we are about to land he hands me his business card and said we are always looking for good brokers. Didn’t even ask. Now I can’t move freight obviously for another 10 months, ( maybe longer as I am enjoying recruiting). But it’s still good making connections, and the flight flew by. Makes me think technology is ruining a lot of in person connection, I’ll fully admit it the WiFi was working, or they had a tv I never would have initiated the conversations. #sales #logistics #trucking #networking

We’ve all encountered salespeople who seem more interested in their commission than in genuinely helping their customers. Recently, I had an experience that perfectly illustrated this issue. A young salesperson arrived at my home in a flashy new Benz, eager to share his success story. He boasted about being a top performer and winning a company-paid trip to Hawaii. However, his arrogance quickly overshadowed his achievements. He suggested I cancel my current contract (with the same company), pay the cancellation fee, and sign up for a new one—just so he could earn his commission. His approach was not only arrogant but also unethical. Needless to say, I did not sign up for his offer and will not be renewing my contract with that company. Salespeople should be seen more as consultants, helping their prospects achieve what they want, not what the salesperson wants. We have two ears and only one mouth for a reason. Be genuine and sincere in helping your customers. Let’s redefine what it means to be a great salesperson.
