This is goooood!!!!! Is grace given in the workplace? Are all professionals exempt from making mistakes or are we expected to be perfect in the workplace, even if things are outside of our control? What if the mistake isn’t necessarily yours? Or what if it is? How do you handle this? Do you give/get grace in the workplace? As a manager, do you provide support to your employees and help in their development? As an employee, do you receive grace?

Unlock the potetial of your people through training.... In today's business world, the role of leaders is more crucial than ever. As organizations strive for success, it becomes evident that the true strength lies in the growth and development of their people. A key mantra to foster this growth is encapsulated in the words: "Don't blame people, train people..." Training is not merely a task; it's an investment in the collective potential of an organization. Leaders are entrusted with the responsibility to nurture and empower their teams. By providing the right training, leaders pave the way for enhanced skills, knowledge, and resilience among their workforce. Training empowers individuals by equipping them with the necessary skills they need to overcome challenges and excel in their everyday roles. at the same time fostering a culture of innovation. Employees feel confident to explore new ideas and contribute more to the evolution of the company or organization. Training also ensures that individuals are prepared to navigate change with resilience and agility. Moreover, by offering training opportunities, leaders demonstrate a commitment to their team's success and well-being. As the renowned entrepreneur Richard Branson aptly put it, "Train your people well enough so that they can leave, then treat them well enough so that they don't want to..." This profound statement encapsulates the essence of leadership. Leaders should not only focus on skill development but also on creating a workplace culture that inspires loyalty and dedication. In conclusion, training is not just a strategic move; it's a testament to a leader's commitment to the growth and prosperity of their organization. By adopting a mindset that prioritizes training over blame, leaders can shape a workforce that is not only skilled but also motivated to achieve greatness. Let's build a future where organizations thrive, not by blaming limitations, but by empowering their people to overcome them. Remember, the true strength of an organization lies in the strength of its people. I lost my 2nd oldest son on 2/6/23 at the age of 22 and life has been different. It takes a lot of effort to do simple tasks and building life around him not being here looks different each day: personally, professionally, emotionally, physically, etc. I miss Dee sooooooo much 😢 With the help of family and friends I’ve been able to do this bittersweet thing for him❤️ Although it took a LOT of effort, here’s the scholarship information in honor of Dee🥹 He would be soooooo proud!!! My heart still hurts and I miss my big boy baby soooooooooooo much😌😢🥺 I’m also overjoyed to be able to help in an area that he was very passionate about. If you know someone who would benefit, please share🤗❤️ The DeeLightful Expressions Scholarship at Lane Tech❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I couldn’t agree more!!! Leadership is the total opposite of dictatorship and using control to manipulate others. Serving others, actively listening and supporting the team is vital in the success and peace in the workplace. Life is tough enough. The workplace doesn’t have to add to it.
When you are called to lead, you are called to serve, and as a leader, you must be willing to place the needs of others above your own. When you are called a leader, you must ensure that your team is inspired and motivated daily to make a difference. That's what we call leadership, and that's what real leaders do. There’s some truth here…
When an employee’s performance is consistently good, it becomes expected and may unknowingly be taken for granted. I have seen people in leadership positions manipulate high-performing employees to produce more, and take on the burden of others. Yet, at the same time, nothing is done to address the significant shortfall in the performance of other team members. At some point, this person will get burned out and lose all inspiration to continue performing at such a high level. According to Tim McClure, when passionate employees become quiet, it usually signals that the work environment has become very dysfunctional. As a leader, this is something you must observe and act on immediately. Please don’t push your most loyal people to the point that they no longer care. When you have people passionate, inspired, and motivated to help the company achieve its vision while fulfilling its purpose, you must do everything in your power to ensure that this team keeps this vibe. Otherwise, you run the risk of pushing away great talent while settling for mediocrity. Soooo true!!!!
What makes you effective as a leader is not the title you hold. Instead, it’s demonstrating an unrelenting focus on helping others succeed in their collective efforts. Many believe leadership is conferred along with a title or attained when you direct a team of people, but true leadership is never about authority or power, according to Lolly Daskal. Instead, it’s about helping others grow, which anyone can do. If you can inspire people to believe something beyond what they thought was possible, believe in someone when they didn’t believe in themselves when you show people you care, you’re already a leader. I love this!!! Being in management for over 15 years, I’ve learned to not only mention mistakes when needed but to highlight the successes too! Many managers are not leaders and tend to focus more on the end result and forget about appreciating the “human” that perform the daily duties. We all make mistakes as humans in the workplace whether we’re non-managers or the CEO of a company. Step back and see the bigger picture sometimes and give grace to others (your employees) and while you’re at it, give some to yourself too (the manager…the leader)😘
Leaders who don't make mistakes are not taking enough risks or learning enough to grow. Everyone makes mistakes; no one is perfect. However, the real test comes from how they deal with the aftermath of those mistakes that sets them apart from everyone else. As a leader, use your mistakes as stepping stones to rise above them and turn them into valuable life lessons.
