As spring sports begin, Dr. McSpadden has some tips to share with parents of athletes! Q: "What are the most common spring sports injuries you see?" A: “The most common injuries I see are overuse injuries in the spring with kids that are doing club ball and school ball, and so intentional rest is an important thing as well. You should take two weeks off in between seasons.” Q: "When should I take my child in to be evaluated?" A: “Kids typically will get better quickly.
