#CrossFirst Bank's 2022 Impact Report includes details on the progress we are making across numerous benchmarks, including #Environmental, #Social, and #Governance (ESG), #diversity, #equity, and #inclusion (DEI), employee satisfaction, and #philanthropic support.

Following the backlash against ESG investing, DE&I has become target in the ongoing 'culture wars'. Tech giants Microsoft and Zoom have cut some diversity-related roles, while Meta and Google have slashed budgets set aside for diversity initiatives. Banks, asset managers and professional services firms have been reluctant to share many details about their DE&I teams with Financial News — apart from saying they have them. Of the dozen firms we asked, just two — Santander UK and A&O Shearman — disclosed the headcount of their diversity teams based in the UK. Baroness Helena Morrissey says she is “aware of a number of specialist DE&I roles being cut back”. Although, she adds she had “not seen any less commitment to the issue”.
