We’re excited to announce that our PurIST℠ algorithmic test has received a proprietary laboratory analysis (PLA) code from the American Medical Association (AMA). The new code will be effective on October 1, 2024. The PurIST℠ PLA code is the first common procedural terminology (CPT) code created to describe an algorithm-only analysis from previously-sequenced, laboratory developed test (LDT), transcriptomic (RNA) data, representing a meaningful step towards reimbursement for AI-enabled algorithms. We’re excited to announce that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has granted Advanced Diagnostic Laboratory Test (ADLT) status for our xT CDx test. xT CDx is the first FDA-approved next-generation sequencing assay to perform matched normal sequence analysis to provide tumor mutation profiling for patients with solid organ neoplasms. We’re thrilled to announce that we have received 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for our ECG-AF device that uses AI to help identify patients who may be at an increased risk of atrial fibrillation/flutter (AF). This is the first FDA clearance for an AF indication in the category known as “cardiovascular machine learning-based notification software” and paves the way for physicians to use this innovative algorithm in the care of their patients. We’re excited to be partnering with United Therapeutics Corporation to develop and investigate AI-based medical device software to detect patients at risk of having undiagnosed pulmonary hypertension (PH). Together with UT, we plan to implement this prospective clinical study at up to 60 centers to evaluate the clinical impact of this technology and gain new insights into the detection and diagnosis of PH.
