Some developers are asking: why would I build with the conversational video interface? AI video can apply a human touch at scale in any industry. We see two distinct directions for using CVI to build real-time AI-powered interactions: 👯 Digital Twins - Scale Expertise: Extend the presence of high-impact individuals with specialist knowledge, such as executives, experts, coaches, professors, healthcare professionals, and celebrities, to overcome limitations of time, scale, and knowledge. Imagine top interior designers being able to give color advice at scale, at a cheaper cost, to people doing renovations, beyond their wealthy clients. 🙎♀️ AI Agents - Humanize the Transactional: Place intelligent AI agents with a face, a voice, warmth, and humanity, where leveraging humans is not feasible today. Examples include customer support agents, digital sales assistants, personal assistants, and technical co-pilots across industries like eCommerce, government services, education, software, and entertainment. Imagine, if Shopify had "personal shoppers" as a feature. A customer could get personalized shopping advice through a live conversation with a digital sales assistant embedded on an eCommerce website. What do you think is the most powerful use case for building with conversational video?

My personal view is that the fundamental question lies in identifying the specific use cases where a highly synchronized digital twin with facial expressions is truly necessary, despite the higher cost, compared to using a traditional avatar with static or random movements that interact solely through voice.

Virtual teaching assistants: Provide personalized support and guidance to students, offering real-time feedback and encouragement. Author Q&A sessions: Enable authors to connect with students, answer questions, and share insights, making learning more engaging and human.
