Time for another philanthropy round up! This summer, our employee-owners in Phoenix, Tucson and New Mexico were busy gathering donations and volunteering their time to support local nonprofits and organizations. ✨A Sundt team in New Mexico participated in the Global Cleanup in Rio Rancho. The team collected approximately 150 bags of trash and removed several large household items, significantly beautifying a part of the desert community. ✨Our Phoenix teams volunteered their time at ACCEL's East campus installing a new shade structure and prepping teacher baskets and training materials. ACCEL is a nonprofit organization serving children and adults who have developmental disabilities. ✨The Tucson office and area jobsites gathered school supplies and everyday materials for Treasures 4 Teachers of Tucson through July. Treasures 4 Teachers is a non-profit that provides educators with free to low-cost, hands-on interactive learning materials. Sundt employee-owners donated $750 along with two large boxes of supplies. ✨The Phoenix Building team helped get transitional housing apartments ready for six new families to move in with the Sojourner Center! Since 1977, Sojourner Center has been a safe haven in Arizona. Today, they offer 134 shelter beds and 32 transitional housing apartments, providing a refuge for survivors of domestic violence. ✨Sundt hosted a booth at the Phoenix Children's Hospital for their summer carnival! Way to go, teams! #sundtservice
