Thank you King's Banking & Finance Society for hosting the Finance Accelerator Simulation Experience with AmplifyME x Morgan Stanley! I had the chance to challenge myself and compete against other 120 students and ranked 2nd in market-making with a 95.43% score. The event was great in giving students the opportunity to have hands-on practical experience in Asset Management and Market Making. Despite being a highly-pressurising and competitive activity, Gianni Pera made everything educational but also very fun and engaging. Key learnings: - How Market Makers make a profit by providing the best quotes for buy-side financial institutions. - Importance of managing good relations with your clients. - How to manage risk in Market Making. - Generate alpha based on market news, data and client requirements. - Lastly, trading is loads of fun!
