In theory, having more minds involved should bring a spectrum of ideas to the table, right? But, too many voices can actually hinder, not help, productivity. ❌ Every individual brings their unique perspective, experiences, and biases. When these diverse viewpoints collide, it often leads to a tug-of-war that stalls progress. The magic of efficient decision-making lies in the ability to distill a multitude of ideas into a cohesive, actionable plan. ✅ Quality > quantity when it comes to decision-making. Do you agree?? If you’re an entrepreneur, if you’re a CEO, if you’re a manager in a high intensity company or if you’re a team member in a high intensity team: Your romantic partner will likely never truly understand your work - they will never truly understand your stress, worries and overthinking. The most you can hope for is that they understand that they do not understand. There is at least some empathy in accepted ignorance. But you have to avoid gaslighting your partner, you must also have empathy for their inability to understand. Why on earth would they? It is not their email inbox, it’s not their deadline, it’s not their tough decision…it is not their responsibility. Being misunderstood at home is one of the prices you pay for the growth you chase. Here’s the twist… although it doesn’t feel like it, it is a gift that they don’t fully understand. If they did, home wouldn’t offer a retreat from work - it would be an extension of it. Keep going, protect your relationship, have empathy.

I want to be an imposter. Every day, I find myself in situations like Dragon's Den, surrounded by legends like Peter Jones and Deborah Meaden, wondering what I'm doing there. But here's the thing: I should be there. My life is meant to be full of moments where I'm out of my comfort zone. I have always viewed imposter syndrome as a growth moment - if you’re not feeling like an imposter then you’re probably in your comfort zone and that’s not where the good things happen. Imposter syndrome has a negative connotation, but it's really about tremendous growth. If you had the chance for incredible growth and engagement, wouldn't you take it? I believe I'm meant to be exactly where I am. If I ever feel too comfortable, I know it's time to seek out new challenges. I actively pursue those moments of imposter syndrome, because that's where the magic happens You should feel like an imposter every now and then. What’s your relationship to imposter syndrome? Your self-doubt may never disappear, but here's how to deal with it 🤔👇🏽 I came across this incredible video of Michelle Obama being asked: 'So many women struggle with self-doubt... Do you? And if you do, how do you push past it?' And it inspired me to write this post... As a society, we have to dispel this narrative that "successful" people don't struggle with self-doubt, insecurities, and imposter syndrome. The truth is, “successful” people are just as imperfect in the same ways. Self-doubt will always be there, lurking in the background. But you have to stop waiting to take risks and seize opportunities that you know you deserve because of that voice. You're not undeserving; you're just as human as everyone else. This is your sign to stop waiting around and just start. Small things matter. Paying attention to details and taking small actions can make a big difference in our personal and professional lives.
