The #erasmusplus #ChoirAtHome was featured on the #TraceRoute podcast.🎧 TraceRoute, the podcast for #digitalPioneers, is an #apple Top 25 tech podcast that reaches around 20K+ listeners per episode. We are very excited and proud to be part of season 3 of the podcast 🥳 In season 3, two episodes focused on the #synchronyparadox. Alexander Carôt (Hochschule Anhalt) and I were invited to share some insights into #onlinesinging using #lowLatency technology in the Choir@Home project. We talked about how low-latency technology actually allows people to sing over the internet, to make connections and build a sense of unity. While there are still many challenges, this technology opens up a world of possibilities for new forms of 🌐 #virtualcollaboration and performances between musicians, and can also enhance 'more traditional' areas of virtual collaboration, such as #elearning and #distributedwork. Did you know that critical intelligence in military operations is often gathered from voice conversations? However, transcribing these conversations into text can be challenging due to background noise, radio feedback, and multiple speakers. That's why the Noisy Speech to Text challenge is so important! Its aim is to develop a robust Speech-to-Text system that accurately transcribes these conversations, even in noisy environments. At the #TIDEHackathon, young coders, engineers, IT architects, and even hackers are focusing on the Noisy Speech to Text challenge. This challenge is just one of few that the TIDE Hackathon offers as a platform for developing innovative solutions to complex problems. These solutions can be transformed into minimum viable products and influence future requirements across NATO. The event focuses on leveraging emerging and disruptive technology, as well as novel approaches, to support the Alliance's ongoing #digitaltransformation.
