Senior Solutions Engineering Leader - Americas Provider Connectivity - Architecture & Engineering at Cisco

Two months on, and the voices for Gaza remain strong. It’s heartening to see continuous demonstrations for justice outside the White House. This fight against normalizing the ongoing crisis in Gaza is crucial. In my personal struggle, I’ve been tirelessly working to evacuate my family from the area. Just last night, we had a viable plan to bring my 23-year-old niece, her doctor husband, and their 4-month-old baby to safety. Tragically, our efforts were thwarted when communications were cut off by Israeli forces. For three agonizing days, we’ve been in the dark, not knowing if they are safe, or even alive. This is the reality for countless families in Gaza. They desperately need our voices and advocacy. Standing in solidarity, raising awareness, and demanding action is vital. The people of Gaza, including my family, need the international community to speak out and act. We must not forget them. We will never stop fighting for justice. #StandWithJustice #GazaUnderAttack #JusticeForAll

And when civil servants - good men and women who have committed their lives to the service of the American people - have to hide their identities to speak out on a policy issue in order to maintain their jobs, it also underlines the ferocity of the censorship and animosity towards this most humanitarian cause that we are seeing across this country today. UK Channel 4 was at the vigil, and spoke with some of us about these issues:
