Pushing the limits of the #Quest3 depth sensor... I could scan my entire apartment with #Quest3 in about 45 seconds with low light conditions. I could play a multiroom continuous session of First Encounters in less than a minute. (left image) I tried to do the same with my #iPhone12Pro #LiDAR scanner. It took 60+ seconds to get a scan. Some very dark corners could not be scanned. (right image) Even though the LiDAR on the #VisionPro should have a more extended range, the depth scanner on the #Quest3 is more versatile and battery-friendly. In other words, it is the best, most affordable option for indoor mixed reality use cases.
