America has massive competitive advantages over other countries as a place to do business. Among them are a stable and predictable rule of law; a pluralistic society; a culture of risk-taking, individualism, and optimism; a belief that everyone has rights that must be protected, that government has an important -- but limited -- role, an idealism that, together, we will build on the advances of the past to create an ever-more free, open, accepting, fair, and perfect union. This July 4th, all of it is at risk. It doesn't have to be that way. The future belongs to those who build it, not to the cynics or the critics or those who say "what does it matter what I do?" America is worth celebrating. Let's celebrate it today. And let's -- each and every one of us -- recommit to the hard work ahead. Happy Independence Day.

In an age of increasing polarization and division, how can we build bridges across lines of difference and strengthen solidarity? What strategies do we need to sustain connections and build power across the growing chasms of ideology, experience, power, and privilege? More people than ever are engaged in social change. We can sustain this momentum for the long run. Join us for this year’s Solidarity Is programs to sharpen analysis and strategy, deepen our connections, and practice skills that can help us continue the critical work of advancing justice and liberation. Solidarity is the throughline to move from equity to justice, from diversity to accountability, from silos to interdependence, from symbolism to systemic change. We believe solidarity builds power. 🎇 Happy Independence Day! As we gather to celebrate our nation’s founding, let’s reflect on a core question: What makes America truly great? 🤔💡 #July4th #IndependenceDay On this day in 1776, our founders embarked on a bold experiment in democracy by declaring all people are created equal. This principle has guided us as a nation through more than two centuries of change. It’s a reminder that our strength comes from our commitment to freedom—for everyone. 🗽📜 Consider the early patriots, who dared to imagine a free America where every voice could be heard. From the abolitionists to the suffragettes to civil rights heroes, every generation has champions who have pushed us closer to fulfilling that original promise of liberty and justice for all. Isn’t that the heart of patriotism? ❤️ This July 4th, let’s honor our nation not just by looking back, but by looking forward. Let’s commit to ensuring that freedom and justice are not just ideals, but realities for all. As we enjoy today’s celebrations, let’s also ask ourselves: How can we contribute to making America live up to its highest ideals? 🌟🚀 #4thOfJuly #AmericanPride #FreedomAndJustice
