Reflecting on the initial days of this fresh year, my thoughts drift to an Irish New Year's tradition that has never seemed more relevant to me:
➡ This age-old custom involves opening the back door followed by the front door at the stroke of midnight. This symbolizes bidding farewell to the energies and experiences of the bygone year. Concurrently, it serves as a symbolic act that, while honoring the past, paves the way for new opportunities and viewpoints by welcoming fresh energy through the front entrance.
➡ In essence, it mirrors the core of transformation — appreciating and letting go the past while eagerly anticipating the potential of the future.
Contemplating my tenure of 6.5 years as the Senior Vice President of Strategic Digitalization at Schaeffler, I enjoy this momentary pause, my hand resting upon the door handle:

💚 Above all, it's an occasion for gratitude. I extend my heartfelt appreciation to those who journeyed alongside me — be it colleagues, team members, or other invaluable contacts, both internal and external. Your influence has profoundly shaped and enriched my professional and personal journey.
With immense pride in our joint accomplishments, I now move on to new challenges:
