Not surprisingly 2023 was a very big year in terms of insolvencies and claims for NCI clients!   2022 claims vs 2023 claims was big! You’re a young adult working your first job. Where is the first place you should save or invest your extra money? I believe it should be a High Yield Savings Account. This is a perfect place to save up and store your emergency savings. Why is it a good place for emergency savings? Liquidity, growth, and safety. -Easy access to your money in case you need it quickly (liquidity!) -Significantly higher interest rates to compound your money compared to a standard checking account (growth!) -FDIC insured up to $250,000 (safety!)
