There are four factors of production: land, labour, capital and enterprise. Labour is raw efforts or manual work, while enterprise is technical or creative efforts(Research and Leadership). Unfortunate are societies where people do have degrees, a proof of having higher education, land, labour, capital, but lack enterprise. Where people dream to become doctors, engineers, charted accountants, business experts, etc with aspiration to become employees not employers. Which professions swear the most? You do the math... We ran research of 2000 Britons which explored their swearing habits, and cut the data by profession. And accountants came first, with almost a quarter (24%) admitting they 'swear like troopers'. They were followed by people working in manufacturing (23%) and bankers (21%). Here's the top five list: 1) Accounting - 24% 2) Manufacturing - 23% 3) Banking / finance - 21% 4) Retail - 19% 5) Heathcare - 18% Overall, 35% of those polled thought it was acceptable to swear at work, as long as nothing was said in anger (rising to 53% of those working in manufacturing and construction - and just 28% of those in education!). The NFIB's August 2024 Jobs Report reveals that 40% of small business owners reported unfilled job openings, a rise from July. Labor quality is now the top concern for 21% of owners, the highest since January. Despite 62% of owners hiring or attempting to hire, 56% faced a shortage of qualified applicants. Job openings are most prevalent in construction, transportation, and manufacturing. A net 13% plan to create new jobs in the next three months, while 33% reported raising compensation, the lowest since April 2021. The full report will be released on September 10th.
