Embracing our commitment to inclusion, we are excited to announce our corporate volunteering partnership with Be My Eyes on World Sight Day 2023 - an annual initiative led by the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB).   To champion this year’s theme on the importance of eye care in the workplace, Santen is joining hands with Be My Eyes to host a 72-hour event. Over three days, participating employees will volunteer to answer calls from persons with visual impairments within the global Be My Eyes network. Encourage your patients to participate in #TakeALovedOneToTheDoctorDay. This is a great way to encourage patients to schedule a visit for their loved one with a local optometrist or ophthalmologist. 

We’re celebrating pediatric #Ophthalmologists and #Optometrists this August during #ChildrensVisionandLearningMonth.   An annual comprehensive eye exam decreases the prevalence of undiagnosed or misdiagnosed vision problems.

Inform your patients on ways to protect their child’s eyes during this #SportsEyeSafetyAwarenessMonth by using proper safety goggles, helmets, or face shields to avoid eye injury. Regular glasses do not provide enough protection from sports equipment or players from injury.   Learn more below:
