Hello. I saw a CSR position that you are currently accepting applications for and I want to apply, however in the description it states that you must reside in Arizona although it is a remote position . I am in Nevada right next door. Will you have opportunities for Nevada residents or can I apply for the current one in Arizona? Please respond at your earliest convenience. Thanks
In mission-driven nonprofits and multinational corporations alike, organizations – workplaces, faith communities, schools - are where many of us learn and practice ways of navigating different perspectives. It’s where we are likeliest to encounter people with different backgrounds and identities. It’s where we acquire norms around conflict and collective decision-making.
Organizational cultures exert a powerful influence on the way Americans engage in civic life, on the norms of our political deliberation and discourse, and on the level of polarization we see in our communities and across the nation.
Co-created by Essential Partners and the 92NY’s Belfer Center for Innovation & Social Impact, the new Share Our Organization Toolkit can help your organization become an incubator for democracy while helping you and your colleagues meet goals, hold difficult conversations, set new policy, and build a culture of collaboration, innovation, and belonging.

I recently had the incredible opportunity to speak on CBC with the amazing Nancy Carlson about a topic close to my heart: Creating a More Inclusive World.
As I shared with Nancy Carlson, diversity and inclusion aren't just buzzwords; they're essential components of success in any business or organization. It's about fostering an environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and talents. And if organizations are going to continue to be successful, they must keep pace with the continued evolution happening within our world, or risk being left behind.
In our conversation, I emphasized the importance of moving towards a common understanding—a shared vision where diversity isn't merely tolerated but celebrated. It's through this collective effort that we can truly harness the power of diversity to drive innovation, creativity, and sustainable growth.
I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Alberta Women Entrepreneurs for this incredible opportunity to share my insights and experiences on such a critical topic and their dedication to enabling women to build successful businesses.

Guiding social impact organizations and individuals to envision themselves as future ancestors so that they can create a story that leaves a legacy beyond this lifetime through Wellness Consulting, Speaking, and Coaching
What does connecting with our ancestors have to do with our mission, vision, and values within an organization?
I was recently asked to support with clarity on developing a vision statement on what can happen within five years to present to potential funders…
However, I’m not interested in your 5 year plan as much as your 500 year plan. 👏🏾
As visionaries and changemakers that are dreaming into a future that has yet to be manifested in the physical realm, we are working with science fiction and imagination here!
So here’s my personal breakdown…
🪷 Vision: The legacy we’re here to leave behind as future ancestors. This destination may not be met in this lifetime, & that’s okay. Can we meet this vision with excitement over what’s possible instead of dread? 👁️
🪷 Mission: The “How,” aka the train that’s going to take us there (inspired by ancestor Harriet Tubman, who I called upon at our altar). 👵🏾
🪷 Values: The railroad to help us stay on track when things feel whack. 🚂
How are we planting seeds for the next generation, while watering the ones that were placed in the soil before us? 🌱
And who do we call upon at the altar of our hearts when the road feels challenging, remembering that our predecessors were not absolved from many of the same fears as us?
While we can come up with the perfect verbiage of what to say and how to respond, I’m more curious about how this vision is being felt & embodied - and the personal story as to WHY this work is so important to you…
How will you make others within your community feel seen, safe, & heard amidst what’s happening in our climate of uncertainty? And how do you want to be remembered when your time comes?
These are more than just workshops; this is ancestor training. 👏🏾
Thanks again Arizona AANHPI for having me support your team with wellness + storytelling! Such an incredible civic engagement organization based in Phoenix, AZ striving for equity and justice for all through civic engagement, prison reform, climate justice, youth empowerment and more.
If you’d personally like to dig deeper into your own story, consider joining one of my upcoming retreats or book me as a speaker/facilitator for your organization where we get to envision ourselves as future ancestors and the legacies we’re here to leave behind. 🙏🏾

PURPOSE-DRIVEN JOURNEY... As I reflect on the past couple of weeks—engaging in conversations with clients, partners, colleagues, and organizations—I experienced a profound realization during my morning walk with my loyal companion, Sancho. Amidst the hustle, it dawned on me that I am surrounded by an incredible circle of purpose-driven individuals and organizations. They aren't merely chasing dollars; their focus lies in building and serving the communities and groups they deeply connect with. It's more than business; it's a commitment to making a meaningful impact.
And let's take a moment to appreciate this: it's not just nonprofits doing incredible work; it's businesses and organizations actively solving real problems. Now, isn't that something to celebrate?
Have you ever paused to consider the problems you are solving and the value you are adding? In my own journey, we initially believed we were creating meaningful connections through storytelling—and that's undeniably true. However, as the years unfolded, we discovered a deeper purpose. We are not just telling stories; we are elevating the voices of our Latinos and Latinas, actively reshaping the narrative. It's a journey filled with purpose, and I am grateful to be a part of it. 🚀✨
