Make it easy to find the actual vacancies on your careers pages. Reduce the noise. Candidates are visiting your careers pages to search for jobs at your company. Values, culture, about us, career growth, D&I, ESR etc are very important but perhaps have a separate section for this :)

Binge Applying for Jobs Will Get You NOWHERE. Do This Instead Make this a daily routine. From Monday to Friday. 1) Filter 5 jobs that align with your skills and experience. Save those roles and apply later 2) READ the job description. Evaluate duties, qualifications and compensation 3) ^ Take notes 4) Send connection requests to the recruiter. Reach out to them in DMs 5) Make your application strong. Write HOW you can help them. That works like a charm ^ Do this 5 days/week. It’ll only take 1-2 hours a day. Stop self-rejecting. I wasn’t 100% qualified for my current job. In fact, I’ve never been 100% qualified for any job I’ve had. And most of my mentees haven’t been 100% qualified for the jobs that I helped them get. You do not need to have every single skill, qualification or experience to be a great fit. Remember, job descriptions are a wish list. And there’s a difference between “required” and “desired” skills/experiences. My recommendation: - Hit less than 60% of the job description? Don’t apply. - Hit 60% or more of the job description? Go for it. Keep this in mind. - Some employers stick firmly to the requirements - Most simply use it as a guideline Every day, people are landing jobs that they are not the perfect fit for on paper. The worst thing you can do is see one point on the job description that you can’t do, and self-reject. Your job needs room for growth. Give yourself a chance. #careers #jobsearch
