Highly trained and professional, they ensure our vessels operate safely and efficiently 24/7, everywhere around the world. Sailing in tramp shipping means they navigate the globe, sometimes in very challenging conditions. This year, the International Maritime Organization will focus on how seafarers can contribute to making the maritime sector a safer workplace. Last month, our BigRoll Beaufort successfully transported the ScottishPower Renewables East Anglia 3 Offshore Substation from Mangalia, Romania, to Stord, Norway. The offshore substation, weighing thousands of tonnes, arrived safely after a voyage of approximately 2 weeks. The smooth roll-off operation took place at the yard of Aker Solutions, against the backdrop of stunning Norwegian scenery and delightful spring weather.
