MPs are those people that give out speeding tickets, right? Well perhaps, but there's also a lot more capability they can provide. Dominic Dawes is here with an accessible but comprehensive overview of the roles and functions of military police in land combat operations with his three-part series 'The Manoeuvrist's Guide to Military Police'. Start expanding your understanding of this capability today with Part 1 - Internment and Detention Operations
Equal Justice is a fundamental principle that should apply universally, whether in civilian life or while serving in the Armed Forces. As a Retired Service Member and former Military Police Soldier, I have firsthand witnessed instances where senior officers and senior enlisted individuals receive preferential treatment even after being charged with serious crimes such as Assault, Domestic Violence, DUI, and Possession. Sadly, this disparity in treatment extends beyond the military into civilian life.
A recent news article highlighted a concerning case where an Air Force General was allowed to continue serving despite being found guilty on some charges in a Sexual Assault case. Such occurrences are not uncommon, shedding light on the challenges of ensuring accountability and fairness within the military hierarchy.
These incidents raise critical questions about the integrity of the military justice system and its impact on the morale and well-being of service members. The need for transparency and accountability in addressing misconduct is paramount to upholding the values of justice and equality within the Armed Forces. #EqualJustice#MilitaryJustice#Accountability#lawenforcementhttps://lnkd.in/eakpXiTc

In my tactical career I’ve had the opportunity to meet both military and law enforcement agencies large and small. I’ve met famous units that are well known, and those that operate in the shadows…
They all have logos. But I think the one below might be the best. Transylvania County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (SRT). TCSO SRT’s domain is a beautiful section of the North Carolina Blue Ridge Mountains. Transylvania County has bucolic scenery, but an Interstate cuts through. That brings crime unfortunately, necessitating their SRT.
Busch PROtective USA is proud to help protect the men and women of TCSO!
Have a great weekend!

Imagine for a moment that your boss—not trained career law enforcement, nor an independent judiciary, nor an independent jury of your peers—was the one to decide whether or not one of your co-workers had committed a serious, violent crime against you.
Removing serious crimes like sexual assault and murder from the purview of military commanders, who are not trained to deal with these crimes, is a major step in the right direction. But more should be done to make UCMJ independent from commanders, especially in garrison environments. The whole system of UCMJ is absolutely bonkers, does not serve Soldiers’ best interests, and does not inspire trust in the chain of command.

"While private military companies (PMCs) like Blackwater (now Academi) and Wagner have gained notoriety in war zones, #privatesecuritycompanies (PSCs) are rapidly expanding in non-combat settings. Despite some overlap between the two, PSCs generally protect assets and individuals. Often collaborating with law enforcement, the effectiveness and ethical standards of PSCs vary widely, and armed guards are increasingly common. Security guards in the U.S. in 2021 outnumbered police by about 3:2...As the role of private security continues to expand, regulations must evolve at the same pace. In the U.S., with regulations primarily established at the state level and lacking uniformity, there is a need for greater oversight to address potential issues effectively. Failing to do so will undermine public accountability by allowing private companies to operate with minimal restrictions, as well as deepen societal divides."

We are disrupting how training is done through experiential learning and simulations. It's the best way to impart memorable, valuable corporate security lessons to combat cybercrime and fraud. The team building, camaraderie, and culture building are fabulous outcomes.

⚠️ Team Building ⚠️
Last week some of our team headed to Los Angeles where they put their old skills to the test as fugitive hunter’s. Of course, the fugitives weren’t real fugitives, but they were trying to evade capture by our team of elite expert trackers with backgrounds in Law Enforcement, Military and intelligence services from across the world.
Here is some feedback from the day -
“I didn’t even know this type of event existed. It was awesome”
“The entire team have not stopped talking about it”
“I honestly loved it. It was such a great day”.
More events to come in 2024!
