Happy Pride Month 2024! This month on June, we celebrate love in all its beautiful forms, honoring the resilience, courage, and vibrant spirit of the LGBTQIA+ community. Pride is more than just a month; it is a powerful reminder of the ongoing fight for equality and the progress we have made together. From parades and parties to quiet moments of reflection and solidarity, let's cherish the diversity that makes our world so incredible. Remember to raise the voices of those who continue to advocate for change and remember those who fought bravely for the rights we enjoy today. There are no boundaries for love. It transcends gender, race, and background. As we celebrate, let us educate ourselves and others, in spreading messages of acceptance and unity. Stand proud, stand loud, and let's create a world where everyone is free to be their authentic selves. Here's to celebrating every shade of the rainbow and the beautiful spectrum of humanity, with RDR! 🏳️🌈💖 #PrideMonth2024 #EqualityForAll #Pride #LGBTQIA+ #ProudToBeMe #rdrpeel #TheRegionalDiversityRoundtable #DEI #Diversity #Equity #Inclusion

Yesterday, myself and Jessica Hayes had the opportunity to visit our Triton Street office and engage in a meaningful conversation about all things Pride! 🌈 A big thank you again to Bianca Stringuini for the invitation! It was great to discuss: ✔️ Why Pride Networks are important ✔️ What we are doing from a UK&I and Regional level ✔️ What my role as our London Central Lead looks like and how we are implementing a 3-Year Regional Pride Network Strategy 🌈 Pride Networks are more than just a symbol of inclusivity; they are the cornerstone of any organisation’s commitment to celebrating diversity. These networks provide a safe space for individuals to be their true authentic selves, fostering an environment where every voice is heard and valued. 🌈 From a Hays UK&I and Regional perspective, we are taking strides to ensure our actions speak as loudly as our words. As our London Central Regional Lead, I am proud to be at the forefront of this, guiding our regional strategy forward. 🌈 Our strategy is focused around education, support, and advocacy, aiming to create a ripple effect of positive change not just across our region, but our communities as well. We are working to implement initiatives that resonate on a local level, ensuring our efforts are as impactful as they are heartfelt. 🌈 It's important to remember, Pride is not just a month-long celebration; it’s a year-round commitment to uplift and recognize the LGBTQIA+ community. It’s about carrying the spirit of Pride in everything we do, every day, because the journey towards equality isn't restricted to the month of June. Here’s to celebrating Pride every day and making every space one where love and identity are celebrated in all their forms. #Pride #Inclusivity #DiversityAndInclusion #Pride365 #lgbt #lgbtqia+ #pridemonth

🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🌈 As we celebrate the vibrancy, resilience, and contributions of the LGBTQIA+ community, it's crucial to acknowledge that many organizations still struggle to support their LGBTQIA+ employees genuinely. While rainbow logos and pride-themed merchandise are plentiful this time of year, the real measure of support is found in everyday actions and policies. Here are some questions every leader should ask themselves: • Is our workplace truly inclusive, or do we just check the boxes? • Do our policies protect and uplift LGBTQIA+ employees, or do they simply avoid discrimination? • Are we fostering an environment where everyone feels safe to be their authentic selves? It's not enough to tolerate diversity; we must actively cultivate a culture of inclusion and equity. This means not only celebrating during Pride Month but also challenging homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia every day of the year. So, let's do better, people. #PrideMonth #LGBTQIA #Inclusion #Diversity #DoBetterPeople

🌈 Celebrating inclusivity with Sebastian, Nicolas, Ashian and Carla 🌈 As the first company in the healthcare and medico-social sector to be certified Top Employer Europe, we have a responsibility to be exemplary. On this International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia, we would like to reaffirm Clariane’s commitment to equality, diversity and respect for the rights of LGBT+ people. 🏳️🌈✊ Our Group is committed to setting an example in terms of diversity and to foster an inclusive working environment that enables our employees to be who they are at all times. After initially signing the LGBT+ Charter of L'Autre Cercle in 2018, we have renewed our support and involvement for a three-year period in 2023. We also developed e-learning training modules to raise awareness of LGBT+ inclusion among employees in collaboration with L’Autre Cercle. But we are convinced that there is always room for improvement. To strengthen our actions, we formed in 2023 an European HR working group to facilitate the sharing of existing good practices, then to determine our priority areas of work. Next step ➡️ the implementation of a diversity and inclusion action plans in 2024 in all of the countries where we operate. At Clariane, you have your place to make a difference. 🌈 Celebrating Humanity Beyond Labels 🌈 I recently attended an inspiring session on LGBTQ & Inclusion, and there was a moment that stood out, leaving a lasting impression on me.. One panelist asked another, "If you had a magic wand, what would you do?" The response was as beautiful as it was powerful: "I dream of a world where humans treat other humans as human beings, only. If that happened, there would be no need for inclusion or LGBTQ sessions etc." This statement resonated deeply with me. Imagine a world where every person is seen, valued, and respected simply for being themselves. A world where love, acceptance, and understanding are the norms. In this imagined world, there would be no need for special sessions to teach us to include one another, because inclusivity would be as natural as breathing. We would celebrate each other's differences and find strength in our diversity. Every person would feel safe, cherished, and free to be who they are. As we work towards greater inclusion and equality, let’s keep this dream alive. Let's strive to create a society where these conversations are no longer necessary—because everyone is already treated with the love and respect they deserve. Let’s champion humanity in all its beautiful diversity and complexity. Together, we can make this dream a reality. 💖 #Inclusion #Diversity #LGBTQ #Equality #Humanity #LoveWins #Respect #oneness #Humanityfirst #Pride #Pridemonth #unity

As Non-Binary Awareness Week 🌈comes to a close, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the courage and resilience of non-binary & gender non conforming individuals everywhere. This week, and every day, we recognize the unique challenges and triumphs that come with living authentically. For me being non-binary means navigating a world that often insists on fitting us into predefined boxes. It's about constantly coming out, educating, and advocating for our identities. It's about finding strength in our truth and forging our own paths. To my non-binary friends and colleagues: You are seen, valued, and celebrated. Your experiences enrich our communities and workplaces, bringing diverse perspectives that are essential for growth and innovation. To allies and organizations: Let's commit to creating spaces where non-binary individuals feel safe, respected, and included. This means using correct pronouns, offering gender-neutral facilities, and fostering a culture of empathy and understanding. #NonBinaryAwarenessWeek #Inclusion #Diversity #LGBTQ+ #BeYourself #EquityAndInclusion

🌈 Happy National Coming Out Day! It is important that this day falls outside the fanfare and rainbow-washing of Pride Month. While the act of coming out as LGBTQIA+ should be celebrated as loudly as Pride, we must recognize that living authentically can be a daunting and deeply personal journey. 50% of Non-LGBTQIA+ (the A is for Asexual, not Ally) employees don’t think there are any LGBTQIA+ folx in their workplace. The I̳N̳V̳I̳S̳I̳B̳I̳L̳I̳T̳Y̳ of our identities is why coming out at work or in general is difficult and why National Coming Out Day is important. Companies need to deliberately create psychologically safe environments where everyone can live authentically. I celebrate my coming out journey today. I celebrate folx in my community’s journeys today. I hold the folx who aren’t ready or don’t feel safe enough to come out in my heart always. The graphic below is from a 2018 study by the Human Rights Campaign: A Workplace Divided: Understanding the Climate for LGBTQ+ Workers Nationwide, which I found incredibly eye-opening. 🌈Our final inclusivity tip of the week is: the importance of taking a stand against hate. While hosting training courses and establishing anti-hate policies is a good place to start, it alone isn’t enough if it’s never put into practice and the beliefs aren't there to back it up. In addition to this, as the leader of a team or company, you lead by example. Therefore, by demonstrating your own dedication to inclusivity by taking a stand, you will encourage others to do the same. This series of posts was created to celebrate Pride month, but these tips are things that we should all be doing every day of the year. We hope that these posts have helped to shed some light on how to make your business a more inclusive place for all, and that you’ll follow our advice even after Pride celebrations come to an end. #pridemonth #respect #pride #LGBTQ #HRadvice #inclusion #diversity #equality #humanresources

🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🌈 As we celebrate Pride Month, it's so important to reflect on how far we've come in advancing LGBTQIA+ rights and recognize the journey still ahead. This year's theme at Atlas, "The Future of Pride," reminds us that while we've made significant strides, there is still SO much work to be done to achieve true equality and acceptance. In our workplaces, creating an inclusive environment for LGBTQIA+ employees is truly important. We have to continue to advocate for the rights and visibility of all individuals within the community, ensuring that every voice is heard and every person feels safe and valued. This mission isn't just for the LGBTQIA+ community - it's a collective effort where allies play a crucial role. To the LGBTQIA+ community: You are seen, you are loved, and you matter. Your contributions enrich our workplaces and our lives! Your courage and authenticity inspire us all to create a world where everyone can thrive. Never forget the importance of your presence and the impact you make every day! To fellow allies: your support, understanding, and advocacy are vital. You help create inclusive spaces, challenge discrimination, and amplify voices. Together, we can build a future where everyone, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity, can live authentically and proudly, both in and out of the workplace! Let's continue to stand together, celebrate our diversity, and push for a more inclusive and equitable world - Happy Pride Month! 🤩 #PrideMonth #Pride2024 #PrideMonth2024 #TheFutureOfPride #LGBTQIA #Equality #Inclusion #Allies #Diversity #WorkplaceInclusion #Atlas #AtlasHXM #InclusionAtAtlas #TheFutureOfWorkIsBelonging

🌈 Happy Pride Month! 🌈 As we kick off Pride Month, it's crucial to recognize and celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community genuinely. This month is not just about changing logos to rainbow colors; it's about real support and allyship. While we see an influx of rainbow logos and Pride-themed merchandise, let's be mindful of token support and queer baiting. Genuine support goes beyond surface-level gestures. It's about ensuring that our actions and words contribute to the well-being and inclusivity of queer individuals every day. Additionally, be aware of the rainbow tax - the price hike on Pride-themed products. True allyship means advocating for fair treatment and economic equality for LGBTQIA+ individuals, not exploiting their identity for profit. Here's how we can support: 1. Support Queer-Owned Businesses: Look for and support businesses owned by LGBTQIA+ individuals. 2. Educate Ourselves and Others: Understand the issues faced by the community and spread awareness. 3. Inclusive Conversations: Make your conversations inclusive and respectful, as you never know who might be listening and hasn’t come out yet. 4. Advocate for Policies: Support policies and initiatives that protect and uplift LGBTQIA+ rights. Let's strive to create environments where everyone feels safe and valued. Celebrating Pride means advocating for equality, inclusivity, and respect every single day. Happy Pride! 🏳️🌈 #PrideMonth #LGBTQIA #Equality #Inclusion #QueerFriendly
