🌟 Steven's story is about how he didn't let his stutter stop him from loving musical theater. At first, speech therapy to help him talk more smoothly didn't work well and made him feel not good enough. But then, Steven started to see his stutter differently and accepted it. This shows us that a stutter doesn't have to stop you from following your dreams. 🎭 By understanding his stutter better and not limiting himself, Steven was able to join the musical theater program he wanted and did great in shows, stutter and all. His story proves that even if you stutter, it doesn't control what you can do or how valuable you are. 💡 Steven's story has an important message: stuttering doesn't have to block your success. He shows us that people who stutter can do really well in what they choose to do. 📚 We learn from Steven that having the right kind of help and thinking positively can make a big difference. People who stutter can be strong with their unique voice and can really add to what they love doing, no matter what others say. #Stuttering #SelfAcceptance #MusicalTheater #Communication #Inclusion #Empowerment #StandUpToYourStutter #StutteringTherapy

Surprising Fun Fact. One of my favorite questions to ask in conversation: What’s something cool about you that not many people know? Andrew, the new COO of BEVEverything’s response… “An Opera Singer” 🎤 Not just any type of singer. A trained opera singer and musician. Here is why I love this. We are Artists. We create. Every experience allows us to tap into our true, authentic, artistic selves. I love it. I consider myself still an artist because I like to write rhymes. I was in hip-hop and had an incredible stage name, but I was never trained like Andrew. What is a Cool, Surprising Fact about you that many don’t know? Comment below 👇🏾 Let’s keep creating. #art #authentic #ev #sales #automotiveindustry BEVEverything, EV Consulting Andrew Zabielinski John Ellis Dario Gomez Marcus Williams

This is a 43-second elevator pitch example. Does your elevator pitch sound like an opera singer? Me-me-me-me-me. That's the wrong emphasis. It's about your prospect, not you. It can be client facing when you take the pain points of your ideal prospect and use them with emotional trigger words to get the attention of your listeners. The pattern is: give a compliment, share a pain point, then the impact if that challenge isn't resolved. Always end your "short message" (aka "elevator pitch") by asking a question that gets the listener to respond. #elevatorpitch #salestips #salesconsulting #jimkerlinconsulting

My elevator pitch is a selfie. People won't remember what you said. People won't remember what you did. People will only remember how you made them feel. How does your elevator pitch make people feel? I love being memorable and being creative. Here are 10 ways I have presenting my 15 to 30 second pitch. 1. As a rap. 2. As an opera song. 3. As a poem 4. As a dance 5. Chirping like a bird with a whistle 6. Asking Questions 7. Sharing Stats 8. Gratitude for successes 9. Popular Quote 10. Personal Story Which one is your favorite 😍?

Have you ever experienced a Chinese opera? Recently, Sarah and I stumbled upon an ancient Wind God festival at Tainan, Taiwan. It was Sarah’s first time attending, and we decided to immerse ourselves in this unique celebration. Chinese operas are captivating performances that blend dance, song, and martial arts. They often narrate popular stories, drawing the audience into a world of tradition and artistry. Interestingly, storytelling plays a crucial role in sales as well. When presenting solutions to clients, how you convey your message matters. Crafting a narrative that resonates with their struggles and demonstrates how your solutions can address their needs builds trust and understanding.

Check out how our Educational Director suggests getting your kids involved in opera!
So You Want Your Kids to Appreciate Screeching in Italian?" Start with cartoons. Bugs Bunny doing Wagner is basically a master class. Explain that opera is like their favorite pop songs, but with more dragons and people dying dramatically. Teach them to say "Bravo!" It's fun to yell in a theater when you're not getting shushed. Promise ice cream after. Bribery is key in cultivating refined tastes. Play "Spot the Ridiculous Wig" during the performance. Opera houses are a gold mine for this game. Remind them it's like a live-action Disney movie, just with less intelligible singing and more stabbings. When all else fails, focus on the swords. There are usually swords. Remember, if they still don't like it, you can always claim you're building their character. That's what your parents probably said about vegetables, right?

Are you familiar with this famous opening line from the soap opera Days of Our Lives? “Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days of Our Lives” Do you see time as finite or expandable? You know time is precious, but do you act like it every day? Daily Shake Up No. 892 highlights the nature of time as both finite and infinite. Limited and expandable. Precious and forgotten. We all say we want more time, but the truth is we would squander extra time the same ways we squander the time we have. Time is not the problem – it’s our approach to time that’s the problem. We say time is precious, but do we act like it’s precious? We say time is precious, but are we typically present in each moment of time. We say time is precious, do we notice and learn from the situation where time stands still or disappears? Time is precious but only if we act like it’s precious. Time is expandable and can be amplified when we are present in and with the time we have. Don’t wish for more time. Practice making more of the time you have. #SnowGlobeLeadership #NischwitzGroup #SnowGlobeLiving #Leadership #Time #Presence #BePresent
