Earthing Systems in MV/LV Electrical Networks | by Schneider Electric In any #medium or #low #voltage #threephase system, there are three #singlephase voltages that are measured between each phase and a common point called the “#neutralpoint”. In balanced operating conditions these three voltages are phase-shifted by 120° and have the value... Read more and download guide: https://lnkd.in/gjzpVXmR

Pls let me out... Just got off work and off office. Then I suddenly noticed all of us are stuck inside the company, let alone the cars that much bigger than us. The gate, the only exit, was completely blocked by this 10 ft shipping container. It's a containerized battery energy storage system, which provides up to 1.1 MWh of energy and could be used for utility-scale projects. Now the professional engineers are fine-tuning this giant "monster" with the assistance of a crane. We all approached closer and watched carefully with intense interest. The on-site testing and operation are awesome, literally impressing me a lot when I am standing right in front of this "box" (L2991*W2438*H2896mm). We're still kept waiting cuz a lot of things to work out and test for what they really want....... Guess what happened at the end? Finally we're "rescued" after almost one-hour "being trapped". Tried and worn out though. Anyway we're out. I'm already starving to death and hurry up back home assp to have my stomach stuffed. 🤣 🤣 #BESS #energyststem #utilityscale #C&Ibatterysystem

President-HiPot Engineering Entrepreneur, Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer & Electrical Power SME
Recently, I had the opportunity to perform electrical maintenance testing on a substation and, to my surprise, encountered a GE Power Break I circuit breaker still in service! This discovery brought back memories of my early career days at General Electric, where I worked on the production line for GE Power Break II breakers. Though these products have since been discontinued, it’s always gratifying to see older equipment like this still in operation. It’s a testament to the quality that once defined GE’s product line, showcasing their durability and reliability over the decades. GE Power Break I and II breakers were known for their robust construction, ensuring safe and efficient power distribution in industrial and utility environments. Even after all these years, their performance remains impressive, proving the long-lasting impact of engineering excellence. #ElectricalEngineering #SubstationMaintenance #PowerBreak #GE #Reliability #EngineeringLife #LegacyOfQuality
