I learnt more about our customers by conducting A/B tests. It's among my favourite methods- even if it can be obscure- because it forces you to put yourself in THEIR shoes. That's the whole point of marketing. The biggest learning was the power of using active language. 🐾 “Fight for EVEN MORE animals” vs “support the animals” 📱 “The new iPhone is now available.” vs “Unlock the Future TODAY with the New iPhone” 🌿 “Gear UP for Adventure with Eco-Friendly Patagonia Gear” vs “Eco-friendly products for outdoor adventures.” 😋 “Fuel Your Day with Huel’s Complete Nutrition” vs “Huel can provide you with complete nutrition.” 🏃♀️ “Fitbit helps YOU track YOUR fitness.” vs “Elevate your fitness journey with Fitbit” Active language engages, inspires and converts more often than passive language. When you know what moves your customers, you engage them more. Brands use active language in their slogans too... 👟 "Just Do It" 🍎 "Think Different" 🥖 "Eat Fresh" The awesome thing is that if you're not sure what to use straight away, A/B tests help you identify what that is on the go.
