The funding round also included investments from The Raba Partnership, Byld Ventures, FirstCheck Africa, and angel investors. Cleva's current revenue model is based on exchange transactions, and the company plans to expand its financial products with USD debit cards and savings in U.S. assets. Cleva aims to provide services to Africans working abroad, including professional invoicing and international USD transfers. Sahl , an Egyptian #fintech company, has raised $6 million in #SeriesA and #seedfunding rounds to operate as a one-stop shop for household bills in collaboration with government agencies.
