#SundayMotivation “You don’t have to be positive all the time. It’s perfectly okay to feel sad, angry, annoyed, frustrated, scared, or anxious. Having feelings doesn’t make you a ‘negative person.’ It makes you human.”– Lori Deschene

Don’t fear your emotions, they rise and fall like waves. Welcome emotional experience and take it for what it is. For example, I get really anxious when I'm late. I hate being late for anything. Yet, I know that's because I don't like rushing. I want to feel prepared and it's one of my core values to be a reliable person and I consider it professional. So I've reframed it now and use that anxiety to make sure I'm always prepared and I'll leave early, even if it means waiting around. What emotions, normally considered negative, have you reframed into a positive to provide some feedback that you can learn from? #StressBucket #Professional #CoreValues #Emotions

Anger is usually a sign that one of your boundaries is being crossed and the truth is it is usually because you didn't set a clear boundary in the first place. That might sting a little to hear but the good news is you can do something about it. If you are feeling resentful, dig deeper and see what it is you are resenting and then ask yourself what limit do you need to set so next time, you won't have the same emotional reaction. What can you do differently or what do you need to tell someone so they can give you what you need? You can't be angry for not getting what you never asked for! . . . #boundarycoach#boundarbadass#nancypickardlifecoach#biggerbetterbraver

#44 Remember Your negative thoughts are not always true! If you find yourself thinking in extremes like "always" or "never" (e.g., "I'll never be good at this"), you might be too hard on yourself Pause and try to see things differently: Think of one small action you can take to improve and feel better. Then, remind yourself of your strengths and what you do well. Liz Fosslien #PositiveThinking #SelfImprovement #MentalHealth #PersonalDevelopment

If you're feeling stuck, you might be invalidating yourself without even realizing it. These are common phrases I hear from clients that keep them from making progress: “I know it’s not rational...,” “Feeling X won’t change anything,” and “This shouldn’t be such a big deal.” Be mindful of these thoughts when you're processing emotions. #SelfAwareness #EmotionalGrowth #MindsetShift #MentalHealthMatters #OvercomeDoubt

"𝙄'𝙢 𝙙𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩...𝙞𝙛 𝙞𝙩'𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙚𝙣𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝, 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙜𝙤 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧." It's a defense mechanism, a shield against criticism. A deep-seated doubt. We push ourselves every day, striving for excellence, yet there's always this nagging feeling of inadequacy. Why does this happen? 😞 Imposter syndrome: Feeling like a fraud & don't deserve your success. 😞 Constant comparison: Endless social media making you feel less than. 😞 Unrealistic expectations: Setting the bar too high, leading to constant self-doubt. It's a normal part of the human experience. The key is to acknowledge it without letting it paralyze you. Here's how I manage it: 💪 Focus on progress, not perfection: Small wins matter. Celebrate them. 💪 Set realistic goals: Break down big tasks into smaller, achievable ones. 💪 Practice self-compassion: Treat yourself with kindness and understanding. Remember, everyone feels like an imposter sometimes. It's how we deal with it that counts.
