A sunny hello on Day 2 at DIA in San Diego! Day one of the 60th DIA Annual Meeting was truly inspiring and I'm still in awe of Emily and her Dad, their story was a powerful reminder of the critical impact our industry has on people's lives. The day progressed with captivating examples of AI applications in clinical development; Gary from Taimai Technology showcased AI for study building, Andrew Stelzer from Unlearn.AI presented on digital twins, and Sam Miller from Exploristics | Transforming Clinical Trial Design discussed using Machine Learning and AI to achieve a 6x increase in trial success rates. The day concluded with an engaging presentation by Christopher Bouton, Ph.D. from Certara on Generative AI for regulatory authoring. It was fantastic to reconnect with so many leaders in eClinical and to see first-hand the advancements being made with AI in our field. I’m looking forward to another packed day, meeting more industry experts, and attending Clario's presentation on the current landscape, misconceptions, and opportunities in advancing AI in clinical trials.
