**Exploring the Types of Private Networks** Diverse discussions within industry circles have shed light on various types of private networks, many of which have their roots in the 5G ACIA NPN White Paper and the 3GPP 5G Specification. 1) **Standalone private Networks:** These networks operate independently, devoid of any connection to or from PLMN. 2) **Collaborative Standalone private Networks:** In this setup, mobile network operators (MNOs) contribute shared Radio Access Network (RAN) resources to support standalone private networks. 3) **Public Network Integrated Private Networks (RAN and Control Sharing):** This configuration involves the integration of public network infrastructure, facilitating shared RAN and control resources. 4) **Public Network integrated Private Networks (End-to-End Network Slicing):** Leveraging end-to-end network slicing within public networks enables the creation of private networks tailored to specific requirements. Illustrated in the accompanying figure below, systems managed by MNOs are denoted by red icons, while those managed by enterprises are represented by blue icons.
