Navigation technology is transforming orthopedic applications, reducing x-ray exposure, and enhancing patient outcomes. Small joint orthopedics is the next horizon in medical innovation! Our trusted partner,TINAVI Medical Technologies Co., Ltd, is leading this transformation. Their state-of-the-art TiRobot® Orthopedic Robot system and O-arm intraoperative fluoroscopy system are setting new standards. Ms. Wang, a 58-year-old with a decade-long struggle with left ankle pain, benefited from Tinavi's technology. Her total ankle arthroplasty, performed at Xi'an Honghui Hospital, saw reduced fluoroscopy times (60% less than traditional method) and efficient surgery, leading to excellent post-operative results. Together, in collaboration with Tinavi, NDI is proud to drive these advancements, bringing the best care to patients. 📢 📢 TiRobot completed the world's first robot-assisted total ankle arthroplasty. Ms. Wang, a 58-year-old woman, has suffered from left ankle pain for more than 10 years and has been receiving conservative treatment at a local hospital. However, in the past year, the patient's left ankle pain symptoms have worsened, accompanied by difficulty in walking, and the quality of life has decreased significantly. On June 5th, Ms. Wang came to the Trauma and Degeneration Ward of the Foot and Ankle Surgery Diagnosis and Treatment Center of Xi'an Honghui Hospital for treatment. After admission and examination, there was varus deformity of the left ankle joint. The pain and tenderness in the front, medial and lateral sides of the left ankle joint were positive, and the plantar flexion and dorsiflexion activities of the left ankle joint were significantly limited. After evaluation, it was considered that the patient's ankle joint function was lost and conservative treatment was ineffective. Ankle joint fusion or total ankle arthroplasty could be performed. After communication with the patient and her family, it was determined to choose total ankle arthroplasty. Doctor Zhao and Doctor Ma completed the total ankle arthroplasty with the cooperation of the TiRobot orthopedic robot system and the O-arm intraoperative fluoroscopy system, and achieved a complete success. The effective fluoroscopy times during the operation were 28 times, which was nearly 60% less than the traditional method; the use time of the lower extremity tourniquet was 74 minutes, which was nearly 30 minutes less than the average time in the past. The prosthesis alignment and position were good after the operation. Photos from MedRobot
