Some personal news - After 9 years, I'm leaving Information Technology and Innovation Foundation. I've loved working with Stephen, Rob, Daniel, Hodan, Jackie, and the rest of the ITIF team on digital, tech, and trade policy. Some amazing experiences (U.S. senate testimony alongside Richard Gere is up there) and satisfying policy wins (directly contributing to a whole new legal framework for copyright enforcement in India came out of left field). Loved the opportunity to collaborate and engage with people from an amazing range of organizations, think tanks, and government agencies. The people (often tech and trade policy geeks) made the whole experience so much fun. My wife and I are expecting baby boy #2 shortly, so lots of things are changing. Details on next steps to follow shortly. But if you're interested, or know someone that might be interested, in becoming the new me at ITIF, I cant recommend it enough.
