🌈 Meet Our Secretary General, Czeslaw Walek. ❤️ You may have seen him energetically jogging through European capitals to stay fit, but he's also at the forefront of one of the most crucial races toward LGBTIQ+ equality. Czeslaw brings a wealth of experience and a profound commitment to LGBTIQ+ equality, exemplified through his significant contributions in various leadership roles. Czeslaw has been the founder and long-time chairman of Prague Pride, where he has been instrumental in promoting inclusivity and equality. His efforts extend beyond parades; he has actively campaigned for marriage equality in the Czech Republic with Jsme fér | We Are Fair, and has worked tirelessly to enhance workplace equality for LGBTIQ+ individuals with Pride Business Forum. His background as a lawyer and his roles in governmental positions, including Deputy Minister for Human Rights and Minorities, have equipped him with the expertise to navigate complex legal and social challenges. Under his leadership, Pride Business Forum grew into a major foundation which creates a workplace where all employees can be themselves, but also focuses on substantial social change, helping to shape public opinion and policy towards more inclusive legislation. As Secretary General of EPBN, Czeslaw leads our initiatives across Europe, driving forward our mission to ensure that workplaces not only embrace diversity but champion it.
