This past April, we came together to support the RBC Race for the Kids. Team RBC is proud to have helped raise over $900,000 and awareness for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, showcasing the true spirit of community and philanthropy that defines RBC. Hear the inspiring stories, heartfelt moments, and collective impact that made this year's event a resounding success.

At TEAK's Summer Institute, our Middle School Fellows had the incredible opportunity to hear from award-winning composer, lyricist, and actor Lin-Manuel Miranda and his father Luis A. Miranda, Jr, a political strategist, philanthropist, and activist. The Mirandas shared inspiring perspectives on the arts, education, and the importance of listening to your gut and pursuing your passion. In just a few months, Lin-Manuel and Luis will be honored by TEAK at our 25th Anniversary Gala for their partnership in educational excellence and sparking creativity for TEAK Fellows. We are enormously grateful for their time, wisdom, and commitment to supporting the next generation of leaders!

TEAK opened its doors on February 1, 1998 to 22 motivated and exceptional 7th grade students. Today, we celebrate the organization's 25th anniversary! Over the past quarter century, TEAK has served hundreds of New York City youth, empowering them to reach their full potential, regardless of economic circumstances. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way and proud of all that our Fellows, families, staff, and community have accomplished together. We look forward to celebrating TEAK's 25th year together. The #RBCBrooklynHalf, which we've partnered with New York Road Runners on, is approaching on May 21. To better understand a runner's drive, we caught up with RBC's Lauren McCrea, a first-time participant, where she explained what the race means to her. 🏅
