    We’re proud to share and shoutout the students who participated in our STAND and Empowered Youth Leaders programs, with MCDPH employees Shannon and Tami, for installing 70 smoke-free signs in Peoria’s parks last month! This project, in collaboration with the City of Peoria Parks and Recreation, is a significant step towards promoting healthier, smoke-free environments in our community. Signs were strategically placed in high-traffic areas to maximize their impact. Kudos to everyone involved! 🌳🚭 #SmokeFree #CommunityHealth #YouthLeadership #PeoriaAZ

Health Improvement Partnership of Maricopa County's (HIPMC) September Quarterly Partner Meeting | Wednesday, September 4, 2024 In this meeting, the HIPMC will review the five priorities identified through the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) and begin forming sub-committees to address these priorities in the Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP). The five priorities are Mental Health, Access to Health Care, Access to Healthy Food, Substance Use, and Housing/Homelessness.
