Break Even Point for the Female World Superbike Championship Introduction The Female World Superbike Championship (FWSBKC) is an ambitious project with the potential to become a major success! Break-Even Point (BEP) Analysis The BEP is the balance point between costs and revenue. In other words, it is the number of spectators needed to cover the total costs of the championship. BEP Calculation: Fixed costs: €600,000 per season (e.g., salaries, marketing, logistics) Variable costs per spectator: €10 (e.g., food, drinks, security) Average ticket price: €50 BEP = Fixed costs / (Margin of contribution) BEP = €600,000 / (€50 - €10) = 18,400 spectators per season What does it mean? * If the championship attracts more than 18,400 spectators per season, it is in PROFIT! * If the championship attracts less than 18,400 spectators per season, it is in LOSS. Investor Considerations: * The BEP shows that the FWSBKC has the potential to be a PROFITABLE business. * The number of spectators needed to reach the BEP is an ACHIEVABLE goal. * The FWSC has great potential for growth and audience development. Other factors to consider: * The growth of female motorcycling * The quality of the championship's management * The competition from other sporting events The BEP is an important indicator of the financial strength of the FWSBKC. Despite the lack of a website and active social media channels, the FWSC remains an attractive investment opportunity for investors who believe in the future of female motorcycling. 𝙁1 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨. 𝗢𝗿 𝗶𝘀 𝗙1 𝗦𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗚𝗣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱? I've been following SailGP more closely over the past couple of years. It's an impressive blend of aerodynamics and glamour all powered by nature. And the growth has been phenomenal. SailGP grew from six teams and five events to ten teams and 12 events this season. Next year at least nine of the 11 teams will be funded from the outside. The sport of sailing, except for the America's Cup regatta, has long been dismissed as a sporting property with commercial viability. But SailGP has top-tier partners, including ROLEX, Mudabala, Oracle, and Near. This has boosted the sport's exposure, notoriety, and fan following over four seasons. The stadium-style, high-speed format is a made-for-livestream sports property now reportedly broadcast in more than 200 markets. And it's unique in the fact that race attendees can see the entire course, unlike motorsports where you see cars/bikes go by once every couple of minutes. And the series will continue to grow. The recent New York event follows closely after Mubadala Capital's announcement of their plans to purchase a newly established SailGP team representing Brazil. This team, known as the Mubadala Brazil SailGP Team, will be the 11th team in the league in 2025. Furthermore, SailGP's expansion is not limited to Brazil, as Italy has also been granted a franchise by the league. Do you have a SailGP event on your to-do list? This year, the World Pool initiative 🌎💰 was a highlight, showcasing how global collaboration can enhance the horse racing industry. The World Pool combines resources from various jurisdictions, creating larger and more liquid pools that benefit everyone involved. The conference delved into several pressing issues, including: 1️⃣ World Pool as a key driver of collaboration and liquidity in the racing industry 💹 2️⃣ Global collaboration to address industry-wide challenges 🌍 3️⃣ Integration of technologies, with the The Hong Kong Jockey Club unveiling plans for AI-generated race cards and augmented reality horse performance tools 🖥️ 4️⃣ Addressing industry fragmentation and ensuring long-term sustainability ♻️ 5️⃣ Enhancing social acceptability and fan engagement, with discussions on leveraging pop culture to attract new audiences 📱 The conference served as a platform for stakeholders to share insights and explore innovative strategies 💡. When I first met Ben Johnson at SailGP with Sam Galet at the IMG offices in NYC with Chelsea Shewchuk and Nathan Pillai there was no question that this league was uniquely positioned to lead in both growth and innovation. Specifically in #web3 for the needs I outlined. Nothing else made sense when you evaluated SailGP. Not even Formula 1 like so many other jumped into. The relationships in this business are unique and strategic. The business model was streamlined. And the approach to sustainability was focused (like PoS blockchains compared to PoW).
