Discover the latest insights on the U.S. labor market from Nicolas Villa, CFA, FRM, CAIA in the most recent Weekly Update: https://lnkd.in/e29HW-5t Despite an increase in job openings in May, the labor market is stabilizing, with job openings per unemployed person nearing 2019 levels. June saw modest growth in private sector jobs and a slowdown in pay gains for job-stayers, marking the slowest rate since August 2021. Initial jobless claims rose but remained below pre-pandemic levels, indicating a healthy labor market.
