Happy to share another Institutional update for Avalanche Evergreen. Citi leverages an Avalanche Subnet in collaboration with WisdomTree and Wellington Management to test their pilot concept of how smart contracts, can enable payment automation, enhanced compliance, and controls for investors and issuers. This pilot was all done on an Avalanche Evergreen Subnet, which is designed specifically for large financial institutions looking to explore the value props of public blockchain infrastructure.
Citi has worked with Wellington Management, WisdomTree Asset Management, and The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) Digital Assets team to demonstrate how private assets could be tokenized and opened-up to new capabilities through the power of smart contracts and blockchain technology.
